"CAPE Physics: Unit 1" is specially designed and formatted for the Unit 1 of the "Caribbean Advance Proficiency Examination". Each Module is treated separately and topics are developed in a sequence that is easy to follow. There is a "Foundation Package" that outlines the basic fundamentals required from the CSEC level.

There is a "Sample Exam" at the end, consisting of a Multiple Choice paper and a Paper 2, together with the answers to both papers. The Practical exercises suggested at the end are meant to help both teachers and students. These exercises will help in the understanding of the theory and concepts outlined in the syllabus. The authors have put themselves in the students' shoes to create an easy-to-understand textbook.

It is the authors hope that this book will be used so as to, not only build a better understanding of Physics, but creating a better human being with a better understanding of the world around us and our purpose in it.
