Mastering Vocabulary Upper Primary Level - 4, is designed For pupils in the Standard Four classes. It exposes the  pupil to a wide and systematic range of sentences and ensure that pupil gains in usages of words in context and in vocabulary in general.

The exercises are two types (i) Word substitution exercises and (ii) situational exercises. Generally, the book covers a range  of Synonyms, Antonyms, Sounds, Places, Peoples, Similes, Masculine and Feminine, Adjectives, Adverbs, Verbs, Nouns, Classifications, Associations etc.

The use of multiple-choice items cater for the basic requirements of the pupil, to save time and to revise, because most children are loaded with school work and there is hardly time left for them to do anything else.

Parents, teachers and pupils should be aware that vocabulary and grammar are interdependent. It is not suficient to know the meaning or synonyms of a word but also how to use the word in writing and speaking, a word, phrase or clause has a wide range of meaning but only when one of these is placed in conforming to the rules of grammar.
